Water retention in Kosmonosy

Skoda places a strong emphasis on sustainable water management and rainwater reuse. As part of this effort, two large-capacity underground storage tanks were installed at the D+D Park Kosmonosy site to collect and reuse rainwater. Pureco CZ supplied the necessary tanks to the project contractor, Metrostav, ensuring that the installation met the highest quality standards. The two monolithic tanks have capacities of 2,600 m³ and 1,207 m³, enabling the storage and reuse of significant volumes of rainwater. The project aims to reduce environmental impact and ensure sustainable operations while also meeting the water management needs of modern industrial areas. The collaboration between Skoda Auto and its construction partners serves as a model for environmentally conscious water management solutions in future industrial developments.
