Wastewater treatment in Battonya Hungary

We carried out the project for the new wastewater treatment plant in Battonya on behalf of OMS Környezetvédelmi Kft. Pureco Kft. was responsible for preparing the complete set of permit and construction drawings, as well as for the construction work. The goal of the project was to significantly expand the town’s wastewater treatment capacity and ensure full compliance with environmental regulations. The new wastewater treatment plant utilizes state-of-the-art SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) technology, which enables the efficient biological treatment of municipal wastewater. The plant’s designed capacity is 620 cubic meters of wastewater per day, thus covering the town’s entire wastewater needs and ensuring long-term compliance with environmental standards. As part of the project, the investment contributes to sustainable water management in Battonya, reduces the environmental impact, and improves the quality of life for the local population.
